Rachel Morello-Frosch
Dr. Rachel Morello-Frosch is currently a Professor at the University of California – Berkeley, where she teaches in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management housed in the School of Public Health. Dr. Morello-Frosch received her bachelor's in Development Studies, her Master in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of California – Berkeley. Dr. Morello-Frosch also has had teaching experience at Brown University, where she was an Associate Professor for five years. Dr. Morello-Frosch is currently focusing her research on environmental health disparities.

Dr. Rachel Morello-Frosch received all her education from the University of California – Berkeley. Dr. Morello-Frosch received a bachelor’s degree in Development Studies and then transitioned her career to public health. Within the School of Public Health at Berkeley, Dr. Morello-Frosch received a Master in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and a Ph.D. in Environmental Health Sciences.
Dr. Morello-Frosch began her career in 2002 when she became an associate professor at Brown University. Dr. Morello-Frosch held this position for five years. Dr. Morello-Frosch is a full Professor at the University of California – Berkeley in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management housed in the School of Public Health. Dr. Morello-Frosch teaches Environmental Health and Development and Ethnicity and Culture in Health Status and Behavior. Dr. Morello-Frosch is currently interested in climate change and health, community-based participatory research, exposure assessment, and environmental chemicals and chronic stress. Dr. Morello-Frosch has also held the Board Chair position for 17 years at Grist, a nonprofit climate-oriented media organization.
